Sam keeps getting better and better. We saw the neurologist yesterday, and he was really impressed with the progress
he's made, and he was really happy with the fact that he's getting reiki therapy. I can say that in the past few
weeks he's made more progress in a short period of time than I've seen so far. When I was giving him
a bath last night, I was washing his arm and he raised it for me to wash - that's a definite response and reaction to
me, and I don't get a lot of those! He has been playing with his legs all the time (not like other babies do,
but moving them around, aware that he has them) wiggling his toes, and bossing everybody around. When we are at
"the reiki room" if someone should have the nerve to leave him without saying goodbye, or stop singing to Sam without warning,
he will scream and scream until they come back. Funny that people think he's not in there. Not people we care to listen
to, of course.
When he was in the tub last night, Ben came in from being in out in the dirt and wanted to get in the tub too.
Since he was filthy I said no, and Sam started screaming at me then, too. He is so bossy.
And Ben is doing great. He's getting ready for his disco party on Saturday. His favorite band seems to be
KC and the Sunshine Band. He knows all the words to "Boogie Shoes" - too funny. KC has apparently retired to Clearwater
Beach - he shows up at festivals and stuff around here all the time. Maybe we can track him down. I remember roller
skating to those songs way back when ....
