Welcome to the Bob Blog.  "Bob" is Sam's alter ego.  Before Sam was born, Ben decided his name should be Bob.  (We should have known better than to ask, right?) And it stuck.   As Sam gets better and better, Ben calls him "Bob" a little less.  We think when Sam wakes up, "Bob" will disappear completely as far as Ben is concerned.  As for the rest of us, well, Bob's a hard habit to break...

I'll try and keep everybody updated on Sam's progress, my thoughts, our daily ups and downs.  It's tough sometimes, and I don't do as well as I'd like.

April 25 was the last time I wrote?  Sheesh.  Stuff is going on.  Nothing bad is happening.  I'm just fried, frazzled, cooked, whatever else shows up in the thesaurus.  But I figured I'd better get to blogging before people got to worrying.

Sam's doing just fine.  Reiki treats him well.  We don't miss any trips out there, even though it's well over an hour away.  And one of the ladies there introduced us to her son who is a chiropractor and wholistic doctor, so he is now seeing Sam as well.  He is wonderful, and will see Sam once a week after he gets "reiki-ed".  (I'm allowed to make up words.)  If you're in Zephyrhills, look him up at Towle Chiropractic Center for Wholistic Healing - he's a good man and I can already tell they do good things there.  He spent two hours with Sam the first time we went - and it was his lunch hour!  Getting a chiropractic adjustment once a week will do wonders for Sam; everything else, well, I can't yet let my mind wander there.

The ENT said today that he should have a tube in his left ear; he's had fluid in there for some time that hasn't turned into an infection, but is probably interfering with his hearing, so we'll have to go to the hospital and get that taken care of.

Other than that, Sam is strong and healthy.  He is making more and more eye contact and he continues to boss me around.  He is still doing well playing with the pop-up toy.

And he's almost three.  Sigh.
