Sam's been moving and rolling in his sleep more and more, and I've finally stopped panicking about it and turning him
back over. Last night he got himself up on his side and slept that way all night. I left him alone (for once)
and just watched him. It's so good to see him moving freely, even if it's only in his sleep (for now). I know
the rest will come.
He seems to be gaining weight, too. He sure looks heavier, and feels it, too. Never really looked thin, but
now he looks chunkier. My blender is about to give up the ghost - apparently, to do this diet properly, I need a Vita-Mix
blender (which costs 10 times what I paid for my trusty little Oster) so if anybody has one knocking around in their garage
collecting dust, I can give it a good home....
We're taking the boys to Busch Gardens tomorrow. Everyone there is nice to Sam. No nasty looks so far.
I told Tim I'm going to put a mirror on his wheelchair with a sign that says "Check your face before you look at our son"
to remind people of what they're doing.
Gotta go - still have miles to go before I sleep. (If you were in my 10th grade English class you'd be rolling
your eyes at me right now.)
