For some reason, i haven't been able to log on for a bit.
Once again, I shoulda tried the laptop.
Anyhow, things have been fine here for Sam. However, my heart has been with one of my former students and his family
for the past week. John Graziano needs your prayers. John was in my class 7 years ago when I
was pregnant with Ben. His fiance Ashley was in my class a few years later (I think I was pregnant with Sam) and John's
sister Christin was in my newspaper class. John was a passenger in a car that lost control and he's been in critical
condition for a week now. He's recently returned from Iraq, and of course the family's dealing with things no family
should deal with.
I've not been able to think of much else this week, knowing too well how hard it is to deal with the terrifying things
doctors tell you.
Here, it's been business as usual for our family, although most of what our family does is far from usual.
Some stuff is blissfully dull. Ben is back to school, and loves it. First grade now comes with a website to go
with the fresh boxes of crayons.
At this moment, I'm watching Sam sleeping with Ben on the pull out couch - Sam is moving more than I've seen him
move in a while.
Every little bit.
